We are pleased to inform all prospective and interested students and post-doctoral researchers that the ETH Zurich Campus Heilbronn Team invites applications for the Interdisciplinary School on Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence for Science, which will take place from June 19 to 24, 2025, in Heilbronn, Germany. This summer school aims at providing early-career researchers with an intensive, hands-on introduction to cutting-edge ML and AI methodologies relevant to scientific research.
The school will focus on the interplay between the computational challenges of deep learning-based AI and conceptual issues like the validation of such learning systems. What will the confluence of ML/AI with High-Performance Computing look like? What are the open scientific challenges of future AI?
The program is designed for advanced graduate students, PhD students, and postdoctoral researchers across various scientific domains, including physics, chemistry, biology, and engineering. Participants will engage in expert-led lectures, interactive tutorials, and collaborative projects to explore how ML and AI techniques can advance scientific discovery.
