SUMMARY:Performant, scalable HPC-QC integration
DESCRIPTION:Elise Jennings (Qambria)\n\nRecent advances in hybrid quantum
algorithms require HPC classical resources and are augmented with AI agent
s or generative models. It is these algorithms which offer the most promis
ing path to near- and mid-term quantum advantage. In order to deliver on t
his, hardware and software integration must provide low-latency on-premise
colocation of quantum computers and HPC to overcome limitations like shor
t qubit lifetimes. There is an increasing trend of application and algorit
hm development in the area of AI for Quantum which is driving the need for
systems capable of both high bandwidth/large memory and low latency inter
connects. In addition data centre providers require integration software w
hich maximises job throughput and QPU utilisation. In this talk we will re
view the applications which really require high performance computing and
go beyond traditional variational quantum algorithms; and in additional we
will discuss going beyond the state of the art hardware solutions to addr
ess these challenges. We will present Qambria's approach to HPC-QC integra
tion which delivers scalable and performance software and hardware platfor
ms.\n\nDomain: Chemistry and Materials, Engineering, Physics, Computationa
