SUMMARY:Performant, Scalable HPC-QC Integration
DESCRIPTION:Elise Jennings and Jens Kruger (Qambria)\n\nRecent advances in
hybrid quantum algorithms require HPC classical resources and are augment
ed with AI agents or generative models. It is these algorithms which offer
the most promising path to near- and mid-term quantum advantage. In order
to deliver on this, hardware and software integration must provide low-la
tency on-premise colocation of quantum computers and HPC to overcome limit
ations like short qubit lifetimes. There is an increasing trend of applica
tion and algorithm development in the area of AI for Quantum which is driv
ing the need for systems capable of both high bandwidth/large memory and l
ow latency interconnects. In addition data centre providers require integr
ation software which maximises job throughput and QPU utilisation. In this
talk we will review the applications which really require high performanc
e computing and go beyond traditional variational quantum algorithms; and
in additional we will discuss going beyond the state of the art hardware s
olutions to address these challenges. We will present Qambria's approach t
o HPC-QC integration which delivers scalable and performance software and
hardware platforms.\n\nDomain: Chemistry and Materials, Engineering, Physi
