The following terms apply to all editions of the PASC Conference series:
- By registering for an event you confirm your consent to the processing of your data in accordance with Data Privacy Policy and Terms and ACM’s Privacy Policy. You also agree to abide by the ACM’s Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct and Policy Against Harassment at ACM Activities.
- Your email address will be added to the PASC Conference distribution list and you will receive announcements about the following editions of the conference. You may unsubscribe from the announcement list at any time.
- By attending a PASC Conference you grant permission to the organizer to use and publish your image or likeness (photographs, screenshots, and/or video recordings) collected in connection with the event for any usual and customary purpose of the PASC Conference, including promotion. You also agree with the publication of your first name, last name and affiliation on the list of participants.
The following additional terms apply to presenters of program contributions:
- As a presenter at the PASC Conference, you grant permission to the organizer to publish a recording of your presentation(/s) and the related slides on the event website under a creative common license “by-nc-nd”:
– creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/ch/deed.en and
– creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/ch/legalcode.en.
- The publication on the event website does not prevent you from the right to publish your research in other tangible forms, e.g. in a book.
- You agree that the recording of your presentation will be archived and remains accessible to event registrants. With a mail to info@pasc-conference.org you can ask for it to be removed. The removal does not encompass copies already made by third parties during the time of the publication.
- You agree that you are responsible for the content of your presentation. You certify that you are entitled to use all documents, texts and images presented. Where this is not the case, you certify that you use third party materials in accordance with quotation right and reference the sources with due diligence. Hence, you warrant that the documents that are presented do not infringe any third party rights.
