PASC26 Optional Social Dinner
The social dinner of the PASC26 Conference will be held at the historic Restaurant Kornhauskeller in Bern’s old town. Built between 1711 and 1718 in the Bernese High Baroque style, the Kornhauskeller originally served as a granary and later evolved into one of the city’s most distinguished dining venues. Its impressive vaulted architecture, artistic frescoes, and refined culinary offerings provide an elegant setting for an evening of exchange and conviviality.
Join us for the optional social dinner on Monday, June 29, 2026. This event is not included in the registration fee and must be booked separately. Space is limited, and registration will close once we reach maximum capacity.

The dinner costs CHF 80.00 and includes a 3 course-menu, mineral water and 2 dl of wine. Additional drinks will be charged on consumption.

How to get there from the conference venue
From PHBern / University of Bern (Fabrikstrasse 8), you can reach the Social Evening venue, Kornhauskeller(Kornhauskeller Restaurant & Bar) in approximately 20 minutes by public transport.
- Leave the conference venue and turn left onto Fabrikstrasse. Walk to the bus stop Bern, Länggasse.
- Take Bus No. 20 from Bern, Länggasse in the direction of Bern Wankdorf Bahnhof.
We have reserved additional buses (Zusatzbusse) on this route:
- 20:07 – Departure from Bern, Länggasse on Bus No. 20 (direction Bern Wankdorf Bahnhof)
-> Please ensure that you have a valid public transport ticket (www.sbb.ch).
- Get off at Bern Bahnhof (the main railway station in Bern).
- From the station, it is approximately a 10-minute walk to the venue. Follow the main street, Spitalgasse/Marktgasse, until you reach the Clock Tower (Zytglogge).
- At the Zytglogge, turn left and continue to Kornhausplatz. The Kornhauskeller is located on the left-hand side.
Alternatively, the venue can be reached on foot in approximately 32 minutes.
